Costumer Critiques

I've observed a couple of lapdesks over the years and this one particular is by far the most effective one particular I've applied. It is solid at the base, however highly comfy to put on your lap. The prime is tough enough to make sure the laptop has its air circulation but also has a nice soft feel to it. Belkin genuinely have done a awesome job here. With no comprimising on style they have delivered a solid piece of kit with fantastic functionality. Extremely Advised product.

I know this isn't described as a cooling stand, but keeping your laptop effectively ventilated is very imperative, and this is exactly where the product fails.

The upper surface is a difficult plastic with a particular quantity of flex. When applied with my MacBook Pro 15", the sheer heat emitted by the case brought on the plastic to bow upwards. This creates contact with the case to the Belkin CushDesk and, in turn, transforms the CushDesk into an insulating surface. Not great for unibody macs that rely on clearance underneath to dissipate heat. And surely not very good for any other notebooks that have heating vents underneath.

I solved the issue by taping a pencil to the CushDesk to raise the back edge of the MacBook. Not an stylish answer, but one particular that functions.
