Costumer Reviews

ATTENTION! TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE Trouble READ THIS!

This is an great value case and keyboard and looks really wise too.

Most of you who have trouble obtaining it to function on your tablets are perhaps utilizing the wrong type of mini/micro USB adapters!

You can test the keyboard by plugging it to a Computer. If it functions then is not faulty.

Initial attempt connecting other USB devices like a USB flash memory or mouse on your USB adapter to the tablet? If nothing functions then you are working with the wrong type adapter! You want to try an OTG mini/micro USB B-kind (based on the tablet) with Pin4 connected adapter cable. A USB OTG= On The Go specification have pin4 connected (Active) on the mini/micro USB plug (In most cases not connected on regular mini USB plug spec) and that is the key. You should ask the sellers of these adapters to confirm this but I located it actually tough as most sellers do not have a clue about this! Also beware that they can specify OTG Host adapter in their description but it is not! You have to confirm that pin4 is connected on the mini or micro USB plug of the adapter.

After finally getting the correct mini USB OTG adapter it worked good on my Storage Choices Scroll 7" Android 2.3.3 tablet. Also USB mouse, flash memory, external difficult drives function too.

The tablet slipping problem is readily sorted with a piece of Velcro tape on the back. The only concern is the keyboard can scratch the screen even though closed so I recommend applying a piece of soft cloth in between them.

Please vote for this assessment to push it up.

Purchased this to go with a Tabtech 7" Android pad (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/item/B004RAN7VI/ref=oss_item). Functions perfectly nicely, keeps the pad safe and secure and tends to make typing long emails/documents much less complicated than the touch screen keypad. Can't fault it.
